As I said from your dodgy link they claimed the French won the battle of the Somme the figures disagree with you.
I didn't post any dodgy link; no-one disputes that the Somme was a largely British offensive, but it failed and down in Verdun the French inflicted a huge amount of damage to the German army as well as playing a significant role in the battle of the Somme.
    I'm alright Jack

well meridian's link that I criticised suggests otherwise failing to mention the British or other nationalities.

1916 - Battle of the Somme - July 1st-November 18thThe battle, like many others in World War I, results in a draw between French and German forces.
This was what I was ridiculing. The Somme one of our bloodiest fights rescuing France and they don't even mention the British so that link is crap.

Yes Verdun was a mostly French / German fight interestingly this link mentions others mattered look at point 7&8.

Interestingly the Somme was launched partly to relieve the pressure on Verdun by the British.

If you want to be taken seriously find some credible sources.

Preview of next week's stories from our expert remoaner war correspondents.

        1. Agincourt - a very close French victory because the British went home eventually.
        2. Waterloo - if only the English hadn't eaten all our horses.
        3. Stalingrad it was a close thing but really the french won it, Ivan is a very common name in Bordeaux.
        4. Iwo Jima - goodness knows what would have happened if the yanks hadn't had french toast that morning.

That link does state times that the French army working with other armies were on the victorious side, but the idea of working with others is anathema to you, hence why you probably couldn't read the link correctly.

Do Keep up at the back, Meridian posted a link, Blaster then defended him so inherited his sources.

Look, you two have made yourselves famous

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Do keep up with your own words...

You claimed the link said the French won the battle of the Somme.

The link does not state that the French won the battle of the Somme.

Do you recognise the difference between your claim and the facts?

Oh, so you’ve changed your story from “win” to “draw”.

Context is that you made it up.
