Post Brexit Will EU contractors be able to work in UK via EU Umbrellas/Companies ? Without any work-permits.. or maybe if the contract is inside ir35 a work permit will definitely be required, outside IR35 - maybe no work-permit required. Or maybe UK is going full blown North Korea - no one gets in. ( Except some back channel indian laborers. )

If the government continues on their current course, I would assume that contracting will only be possible with work permits being issued. You will almost certainly have to work as a temporary employee. It is unlikely that you will have the tax advantages you currently can gain via an EU umbrella, i.e. operating as a self-employed contractor. I'm assuming it will be like Switzerland was before the Swiss-EU trade deal.Last edited by BlasterBates; 21 December 2017, 17:24.I'm alright JackComment

Which meant quotas on permits and the need to prove that a local wasn't available. and that the applicant was a graduate.Originally posted by BlasterBates View Post...I'm assuming it will be like Switzerland was before the Swiss-EU trade deal.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
