The reasons for peace are:
- Realisation that killing millions of people doesn't improve anything
- Vastly improved communication
- Vastly improved weaponry

Your role as mouthpiece for the EU is making you look increasingly out of touch with reality.

Many consider nuclear weapons responsible for that. We have not only had no wars in Europe the rest of the major world powers have not had wars with other countries armed with Nukes. Also light guns, munitions & Geurilla tactics have made many wars unwinnable.

no you suggested the EU was responsible for us not having a major war in Europe for 80 years. I pointed out there hadn't been a 'Major War' anywhere in 80 years so its unlikely the EU was totally responsible for peace as you suggested. Sorry if you didn't understand a reasonable argument.
