May I draw your attention to http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ml#post2046541 which has been sat ready to post for 12 yearsOriginally posted by normalbloke View PostYep. This whole sorry episode has changed my view on the British 'Justice' system and confirmed without doubt that 99% of politicians are in it for themselves. The worst by far is Gauke - a self-serving, lying turncoat. A really nasty piece of work, comparable to the unelected HMRC officials (you know who you are) and lawyers who dreamed up Section 58.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

It's fair to say that most of us here are George.Originally posted by screwthis View PostHave I missed something?
Je suis George. Looking forward to dropping a pile of "merde" at HMRC's doorstep.'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -

I'm not sure of the significance, apart from Leon Brittan has just died.Originally posted by eek View PostMay I draw your attention to http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ml#post2046541 which has been sat ready to post for 12 years'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -

Gauke follows a tradition of self serving, two faced, conniving, lying politicians who appreciate the rule of one law for you and another for us while looking after their own....Originally posted by SantaClaus View PostI'm not sure of the significance, apart from Leon Brittan has just died.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

Read a great book recently, The Establishment. Worth a read if you want to really know how two-faced those in power are. The author bangs on about tax avoidance while also stating that tax gets redirected into the hands of the rich anyway, but some of the research is incredible. Fair share? No such thing, there's only their share.Originally posted by eek View PostGauke follows a tradition of self serving, two faced, conniving, lying politicians who appreciate the rule of one law for you and another for us while looking after their own....Comment

The word you're looking for is duplicitous! I often mentioned this is direct reference to gauke when writing to my MP on BN66 as I knew a copy of my letter would be passed on to him.Originally posted by eek View PostGauke follows a tradition of self serving, two faced, conniving, lying politicians who appreciate the rule of one law for you and another for us while looking after their own....I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
