    Trial verdict

    Not Guilty

Only heard tidbits at the moment.

Judge said HMRC had no evidence and directed the Jury to find defendants not guilty.

    HMRC seemed an utter shambles.

    More to follow.

      Fantastic news!!!

And it goes to show HMRC are a bullying mafia who waste the court's time and public money.

Fantastic news. If this is the sort of thing HMRC were prepared to do with the powers they had before APNs etc, if gives a pretty good idea on just how they will abuse their powers from now on. Congratulations to WG. I hope once he has had the time to get over the distress this must have caused that he comes out fighting with the gloves off.

The case collapsed well before the Prosecution could even complete their case. What a shambles - a complete waste of time and public money by HMRC bully boys.
