I can understand people's frustration but everyone needs to take a step back a little.

This is the Committee stage where the Finance Bill is discussed at length. Every member of the Committee has a chance to be heard if they so wish to speak. The Chairman decides which amendments if any are discussed.

The Committeee stage hasnt been set up to discuss 'our' amendment. The Bill is the main focus, our amendment is in reality a sideshow in all of this. It (the Bill and our amendment) was never going to be discussed in a couple of hours.
