If you want a smaller set up then try Maslins or Paper Rocket. I've been with Gorilla about 9 years now but any of the three mentioned in this post and you'll be golden'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

I wonder what if any differences there are between Gorilla say, and my accountant (Workwell) to those currently being investigated.Comment

I spoke to Gorilla in person about this. There are plenty of articles about what an MSC is and experts opinion on what the specialist accounts are doing that would put them in scope. I know Gorilla has looked at this and their activities are hands off enough to ensure they are not part of it (as far as they know) (and for now). They don't advise, they just do accounts.
Now if you've asked your accountant a load of daft questions and they are being overly helpful on stuff you should be doing yourself then you aren't in a good place but Gorilla's standard offering is just accountancy.
Not a clue about Workwell. You need to ring them and ask them.. but again, if you don't have a pretty good grasp on what they should be doing for you then you are probably part of the problem already.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

Not sure Contractor Calculator should be advertising SJD's services, but they are in todays email...
Black Friday sale, apparently. Maybe they'll reply to an email or not leak some customer data.⭐️ Gold Star ContractorComment

What are people's feelings on Dolan nowadays? They seem to be going through a lot of accountants lately and the quality feels like it's dropped.Comment

I am living a Nightmare with SJD. For details here
They never take responsibility. Never reply to emails or calls. Keep billing the 120 a month and I am still awaiting the company accounts 21/22.
I have raised a complaint and they closed it without solving the issue or telling me.
I have even sent an official complaint to [email protected] following the instructions they provide on their webpage (https://sjdaccountancy.com/terms/complaints-procedure/), but no answers so far.
I am not sure you want to work with them.
If someone needs more detailed information to proof the veracity of my comments please write me a dm.

I hope it helps.
