    Im only surprised only 3 posters seem to be involved.

    The only way to discuss certain things is to do it off forum or alternatively set up another tightly controlled member only forum specifically for the BN66 \ MP subject. But even then, HMRC can get access to that by intimating to be an affected contractor.
    There is a way round that - if we can persuade someone at montpelier to tell us if applicants are legitimate - I will try a bvit of arm twisting and let you know how I get on!

      I agree, there is no 100% secure way of doing this. I wouldn't be surprised if the circulars that MontP send us find their way into the hands of Hector. After all, there's bound to be at least one or two disgruntled clients out there who have already settled who may not want the rest of us to win.

      A "private" forum may lull us into a false sense of security.

        They recently paid someone in Lichenstein £100k for a list of banking clients!

        I wish I could comment on the illegal bit! I will PM you!

          Er, you never heard of under cover cops?

          Both the Dept of Work and Pensions and HMRC use what are termed 'special investigators.' These are civil servants whose job it is to investigate suspected 'wrong doings' to claim benefits or avoid paying taxes etc.

          They may go undercover or use cover stories to gather evidence. If they do speak to you formally in any investigation, they must quote you what are called 'judges rules.' You know the 'Anything you say can and will be taken down ..........' etc, etc.

          Sadly, its perfectly legit.
          I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

              It seems obvious to me that Brillo is Hector. It’s an age-old technique – repeatedly spouting off about what a nutter you are and what lengths you are prepared to go to, and then add credibility by dropping in the names of other anarchic organisations that you are involved with. The intention is to draw in and identify those of a similar disposition. Unfortunately, poor Poppy (amongst others) swallowed it.

              Think about it – if he was genuine and hadn’t yet been carted off to the funny farm, would he really be posting such drivel on a public board?

                You obviously don't read TPD

                One Sunday afternoon recently, when I had nothing better to do, I was able to find out a fair amount about Scourer - more than he thinks I know, but all found out using information in his posts on CUK and a bit of Googling. {EDIT: I think I'll remove this sentence.}

                If he's undercover, he's absolutely crap at it

                    Yet another reason why a private forum is needed. Not only do we avoid giving away the game plan and valuable information to HMRC but we get to avoid the trolls.

                    There are several on this thread and at montpelier who know who I am and I have exchanged many PMs, emails, phone calls and even met some of them.

                    They also know I am a total nutcase. Except relative to gooner - he makes me look sane.
