BN66 - Time to fight back: Continued

Due to an investigation regarding comments on the old thread we have taken the decision to close it and continue it here so we can keep a better eye on comments made.

We would also like to point out that comments made (in jest or not) regarding actions that may be taken on these persons can land you (and us) in a lot of trouble.

Please continue the 'BN66 - Time to fight back' thread here.

The initial discussion regarding this legislation can be found here:

      Threats

I don't know what comments caused the old thread to be closed.
Presumably some sort of threat to a tax official.
Pretty pointless I would have thought.
Tax Inspectors must be used to threats from people much more likely to follow-through.
They fleeced Nicholas Van Hoogstraten of millions, so they're not going to worry about a
few white-collar businesspeople saying what they'd like to do to them.
I can't believe anyone even thinks it's worthy of investigation.

Presumably the borderline psychopathic threats on the tax inspector. Which seemed strange as he was only doing his job.

That about sums it up. Personal attacks on someone doing his job were beyong the pale.

There is an external investigation underway and that is all I am prepared to say on the matter.

Possibly the rampant speculation on what the scheme managers were or were not doing and peoples opinions of them.

                  Sorry to detract slightly, but...
Why can't I vote in this poll? Do I need to achieve a certain level (of something) before it's unlocked?

On the old thread, someone asked...

"1 If I transferred the house and all my savings into my wife's name, then divorced her, could they go after her for the money"

Pretty sure this won't work, I did some research on this, as I had the same idea, can't find the link now, but someone tried this, the revenue came after their ex-wife, there was a court case, and the revenue won thus setting a legal precedent.

You might want to have a sniff round using google the article on this is there somewhere.
