Probably not admin's place to reveal DJR's birthday, either. It would be either one more nail in the coffin, so to speak, or possibly exculpatory evidence, for their own knowledge, but unless DJR gives leave to them to reveal it they probably shouldn't do so, by implication or otherwise.

We may never know in that case.

According to Linkedin Mr Roberts worked at SJD prior to 2012.
Simon Dolan owned SJD then. Does Simon still post on here? He might be able to clear this all up!

We know Darren Upton never worked at SJD!

It's very easy to do. That is public domain information, presuming his birth was registered in the UK. You can find dates of birth for both DU and DR provided they both exist. I don't know for certain, but surely a name change, provided it actually HAS been changeed, not just an alias***, is also a matter of public record. If DU is DR then DR may be an alias, or it could be a name changed by deed poll. Who's going to track those details down then?

*** Reginald Dwight/Elton John, Richard Starkey/Ringo Starr, Harry Webb/Cliff Richard etc etc......

All changes of name by Deed Poll that are formally enrolled should be recorded in the London Gazzette, which is fully searchable.

The only hit for Darren Upton is for the bankruptcy notice.

It may be that it was never formally recorded this way, it's not a legal requirement to do so, but most law firms who deal with name changes will only keep the records for 5 years. If you don't expect to ever have to prove you used to go by another name then you probably wouldn't bother as it costs money to do.

Only *enrolled* changes of name by Deed Poll would be recorded in the London Gazette. There is no central register of what is, essentially, just a contract that means you are called something else.

I can't believe that Mr Upton would have paid extra to make it a matter of searchable public record that he had changed his name (on the assumption that he has changed his name, obviously).

Not so. Only those which are enrolled are recorded there, and there is no requirement to enrol a deed poll.

edit: someone beat me to it already Oh, well, never hurts a dead horse to beat it a few more times.

Nice thought, but I doubt Simon remembers absolutely everyone who worked for him at some point between 92-2012. If he definitively remembers DJR, that would go a long way, but if he has no memory of him it would hardly be conclusive, would it?
