I like the idea of Curve/Supercard, but how do they make their money? And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.Comment

Also whats the difference between blue and black cards? Apart from £35/£75? (gotta to have a posh looking credit card- I like my amex plat)
Also, how does it work? Do you set it up to, by default, use, say your amex card? So you use the curve card no worries since its mastercard but what shows up on your amex statement?
Also, I guess you still need to use your standard cashpoint to withdraw cash rather than curve? Or can you set it up to ATM to default to your bank card? After all I dont want to withdraw atm cash with my amex....
Sounds good though. I generally spend £800-£1000 on my santander mastercard just because places dont take amex. (so thats £8-£10 a month lost in cashback). Also, its annoying to go into a shop, say do you take amex, not sure never seen one before, try it, doesnt work, get out mastercard etc.
I believe you can also use it to withdraw cash and it's seen as a purchase. Not tried that and will only find out once I've experimented. That is how the supercard works for cash point transactions thoughmerely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

I've used the Sueprcard overseas plenty - use the Tesco card in the UK, but it's awful overseas. The only time I had an issue with it was when I'd forgotten to switch it on before going away, and Kickstarter rejected it.Comment

Just a word of caution on the curve card. It breaks the direct payment relationship with the credit card provider and seller so you won't be covered by section 75 of the consumer credit act. Yes, there is chargeback but that's not a legal requirement.Comment
