DR, what is the expected timescale for all this? I, and others, are obviously keen to press on, what with APN payment dates looming. Just a rough idea please, if you can. I suppose that NTRT now has to:

    - invite people to join up / put their money where their mouth is
    - count up the applications
    - divide up the expected cost, arrive at a monthly figure...
    - get the first monthly payments in!
    - instruct the legal bods etc. etc.

What if people don't join up now, but decide to do so later? Will they pay less? Or will there be a cut-off-date to join in? Won't these people benefit anyway, should we win TAA?

Lots of questions forming in my mind as to how this will actually work.....

I don't think that the Conservatives have been any better regarding retrospection than Labour were. In fact, the sole retrospective of Labour was S58.

In contract the Conservatives have enacted quite a few measures with retroactive affect including APN's and their treatment of the lifetime limit for pensions which is clearly retroactive.

And no, I'm not just assuming this. I know it for an absolute fact.

Yeah, well I hope when he dries his eyes that he thinks about what he and his fellow Hectors put literally 1000s of families through. Suck it up.

It's going to take a bit of time.

Bear in mind though that the folks running NTRT are in the same boat as you and are just as keen to get a move on.

Once the wheels are in motion, people will need to sign up fairly quickly. Now is not a time for dithering.

Maybe Messieurs Class Action & Co. can cover off the fraud angle as an extra.
