    The next NTRT newsletter

The next newsletter will include the 8-page letter, sent by our advisors CCW to HMRC, providing the technical analysis on the "George" argument.

This is based on the 38-page Anne Redston QC opinion that the argument has a better than 75% chance of succeeding at the FTT.

In other words, a better than 75% chance that we won't have to pay a single extra penny to HMRC.

The letter may also reveal the surprise that is in store for HMRC.

Likewise I stand to loose all, and contribute to NTRT too, and have continually bombarded my MP.

Us Oilfield Trash (pet name), have never been involved in these IT forums like you guys down South, in that you all set up the forum etc., and appear to know of each other, which is not the case with us. MontP did come up here and presented their tax planning arrangements to the interested parties. However, you will find that most contractors in the O&G move around, 6 weeks here, 3 months there, 5 months overseas etc., etc., following the Exploration and Drill Bit, hence don't stay in touch the same.

However, were they aware of this I am sure that most would want to contribute to this grave injustice, as I said I am reaching out to those that I know were in the scheme, but there is a lot out with my sphere, so there must be a way to get in touch with them!
It isnt a question of banning anyone. Its a question of whether to close the membership option to join NTRT. Lots of clubs, associations etc only accept a maximum number of people and if you apply after a cut off date, you dont get the benefit.

Everyone knows they are going to get stiffed by hmrc over this, the question is how much. Im fortunate in that I can cover my 'penalties' but my stance is whether others like it, is that the mP scheme was 100% legal. My objection to BN66 is that it was made retrospective when every other tax avoidance scheme has been closed from a current date.

              All this is old ground.

I dont know how people can still be hiding away from this campaign.
