To co-ordinate their activities in the same way as they do at NATO HQ.

The UK and US didn't become a superstate to co-ordinate the D-Day landings.

You should, because you clearly have no clue as to how military operations are actually conducted at any level.

But don't let that stop you continuing to make a c0ck of yourself.

no but they did put the landings under an American & British General with multiple nationalities of army Divisions under them

The Allies planned to launch the invasion on 1 May 1944.[22] The initial draft of the plan was accepted at the Quebec Conference in August 1943. General Dwight D. Eisenhower was appointed commander of Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF).[26] General Bernard Montgomery was named as commander of the 21st Army Group, which comprised all of the land forces involved in the invasion.[27] On 31 December 1943 Eisenhower and Montgomery first saw the plan, which proposed amphibious landings by three divisions with two more divisions in support. The two generals immediately insisted that the scale of the initial invasion be expanded to five divisions, with airborne descents by three additional divisions, to allow operations on a wider front and speed up the capture of Cherbourg.[28] The need to acquire or produce extra landing craft for the expanded operation meant that the invasion had to be delayed to June.[28] Eventually, thirty-nine Allied divisions would be committed to the Battle of Normandy: twenty-two American, twelve British, three Canadian, one Polish, and one French, totalling over a million troops[29] all under overall British command.[30]

Sorry no Slovak Generals in charge and the Germans were on the other side. Do you have any other examples that ignore your points?

You really are vulgar and offensive when you are losing a debate aren't you? Do you think you could have one debate on here without childish name calling? You really don't help your argument when you are being immature.

Well done you agree then that having an HQ doesn't mean it is unified army, as there was an allied HQ.

OK so now that we've clarified that, then that means we have no evidence of a unified army.

So its an EU force not an EU army?

                https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/us/army

An organized military force equipped for fighting on land.

The EU has had for a number of years a military policy and defence force, including battle groups, just that its never been widely publicised until the Eurosceptics jumped onto the EU army bandwagon:
