If as per the admission in the Independent they have a central HQ controlling the movements of an EU army one assumes there will be one group of leaders and a Slovak EU General would decide where the German troops could go. Though we know its likely to be a German EU General.
Allied command had an HQ and controlled the movement of the various nations armies in the WWII this didn't make it a single army - just a coalition.

Doesn't have the same ring as:

If you really believe the vote in the referendum was an informed decision, you are clearly deluded. It played on the people's emotions, which the brexit campaign managed to manipulate better.
I've already stated my view that the brexit was a vote to 'Rock the Casbah'.

Many many factors thrown into the mix. But a common them is clear a vote against the status quo.

Personally the battle bus, and £350m had ZERO impact on my decision.

      For me it was:

      a) lack of democracy in EU (Tony Benn)
      b) a strong belief that the EU is weak and incapable of effective self governing
      c) dislike of rich western states funding poorer eastern states
      d) that a debt bubble needs to pop and brexit might as well do it before it gets any bigger

Doesn't NATO do that as well? Didn't Americans order British troops around during the various conflicts recently in the Middle East?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

              d) that a debt bubble needs to pop and brexit might as well do it before it gets any bigger
Might have not influenced YOUR decision But the battle bus had huge impact to a significant portion of the population, it was presented as a great boon form Brexit, the remain campaign couldn't come up with a successful poster.

              a) In some regards there is more democracy in EU than in UK - all major decisions need to be unanimous, not just 50%+ majority
              b) I agree that it's has grown way too bureaucratic. And it is as week as it's weakest member, hence the drive to uplift the eastern europe nations.
              c) What your narrow mind don't realize is that said funding is a net gain for the western states. Large portion of the funding ends up buying goods and services from western companies. Increased standard of living is the best immigration control. And as I have previously stated, IMHO there is some form of debt (moral at the very least) to be paid for throwing them to the wolves at the end of WWII and using them as buffer for decades. They didn't grow to be weak because the people living there were weak, they did because they were left under Soviet control. If you have any doubts about this, take a look at the disparity between West and East Germany.
              d) Gov and BoE can pop the debt bubble anytime they want, no need to compound it with the other potential (and likely) negative economic impact of Brexit.

In YOUR extremely arrogant opinion. Stop being such a patronising tosser.
For most Brexiters the "battlebus" was of very minor import, and merely signified the very real claim that a Brexit vote would widen our own choices as to how to allocate funding.

That might be why they seldom if ever actually make any major decisions. And the "unanimous" suggestion is utter tripe, and you really ought to know that.

God knows where you get your "facts" from, but no rational person can possibly accuse Britain of "throwing anyone to the wolves" at the end of WWII.
We entered the bloody war to support Poland for fook's sake. Go and read some proper history you clueless moron.

                  I do apologise...

Operation Desert Storm was conducted by an international coalition under the command of U.S. General Norman Schwarzkopf

Of course we did being battered & bruised and in hoc up to our eyes with the Americans we should have kept going to Moscow where Napoleon & Hitler failed so we could rescue the Eastern states. That would be the same we that are too weak to survive without Germany, France, Italy etc. now.
