Hmmm. I'll have to wait until I get home in that case. :-/.

I manually installed it on my Nexus S a month or so ago. It's been fine, and despite the scare stories has made no difference to battery life or made anything slower (faster on the whole). I don't get face recognition, not that I really want it. A swipe is easier.

I still haven't got bored of twirling the unlock icon around its circle.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Smaller finer font though, I had to up the default font size (accessibility feature) which made me feel really old and blind

Yeah, no chance! Like me you can't have long left on that contract.

              Waiting for the GSIII.

How's the facial recognition thing working out for you in the dark then?

Also, imagine what the fingerprint recognition might be like when you are on your way home after the pub eating fish'n'chips as you go.

Damn I forgot you follow me on twitter

It works ok, if it senses there is not enough light it defaults back to pin/swipe back up.

After playing with it for a day or so it does appear to be faster, I assume due to the fact that dual core support was not available before 3.0, battery life appears to be steady, reports are that I should notice a bump but will have to wait and see how that goes. Annoyingly a few apps don't work (including Dropbox) but hoping a re install will solve that, the icons appear to be a bit cleaner which is good in my opinion, and to be honest thats all I care about, my opinion
