      We've cleared out our attic over the last few weeks in preparation for a loft conversion, and in doing so I found my old Atari 800XL with cartridges for Space Invaders and River Raid Might have to connect it up to the plasma for a retro gaming sesh
      Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

        I've got a Commodore Amiga 500 connected to my big LCD telly. Can't beat a bit of Lotus Espirit Turbo Challenge!

            THAT is justifiable grounds for kicking her out. Where do you live, I might be able to get down the charity shop and bag a bargain...

              It gets worse. I tried to take a portable TV to a couple of the charity shops near us (worked perfectly, just upgraded to an LCD) and was told that nowhere can now take electronics due to health and saftey concerns - so all your geek gear would have gone straight into a skip.

              And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

                I took my old 27" set to the local childrens hospic last summer. worked perfectly and was only a couple of years old.
                They gladly took it.
