    PS3 and PSP owners

the AND is the key part here.
Apparently PS1 games (downloads and discs) on the PS3 can be played on the PSP.

Has anyone here actually tried this?

Some PS One games have been converted for PSP usage and can be downloaded from Playstation store, usually for £3.49. Same goes for PS3 i think (sorry I only have a PSP)

Interesting, looks like support was added for remote play with PS1 disks in firmware 2.10. Haven't tried it but it is reported to work well.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

        I've got Gran Turismo 1 on order (95p + 1.99p&p)

I'll post back here with the results

Rubbish. I just downloaded a PS1 game off the net, and my copy of Paint Shop Pro would not even open it. Not a valid image file it said.

Gran Turismo 1 turned up on saturday...
Put the disk in the PS3, turned it off (its set to switch on when remote play accesses it), fired up the PSP and linked to the PS3 with remote play, selected the game and it worked.
              As simple as that!

Time to start flogging the jewellery she never wears, handbags she never uses, etc., on eBay - you should be able to make enough to replace the lot

Oh, once you've sold all her junk, you might want to sling her out, too - she's clearly a complete philistine.
