    Any of you got this?

It's only £220. Sounds ideal for when you're on the move.
    Hard Brexit now!

SB's away so I'll do it.

Are you sure you are technically competent for that Fisher Price "laptop" having more fingers than brain cells?

The reason why the Eee PC should appeal to kids and grandparents alike is the streamlined, tab-based interface that offers only six easy-to-understand options:
On second thoughts, stick to your etch-a-sketch.

Sad to see your ambition has fallen from here to this.

I need both. The PC for running some fairly meaty software. The laptop for surfing.
It's selling like hot cakes - can't find one in stock anywhere.

Fair enough. Horses for courses and all that. Personally I have always gone for laptops that are just shy of the top end that are fairly decent at most things i.e. processing, portability, graphics etc. Although initially I always thought I would use it for a specific purpose the reality is that the requirements change a few months down the line so you don't want to have to buy something else again.

You're a contractor! Spend the extra cash and get something that looks like a real computer.

Sas, with posts like this you should lose that godlike status.

Buy a proper laptop/notebook you tightwad.

I got one of these a few weeks ago. Its about the size of a video tape but thinner and is brilliant for the commute and at work.

I went for the 1Gb RAM version with XP Pro.

I'm tempted, but would want my USB modem to work on it, which I don't think it does at the moment.
