    you need to first worry about what you'll be using the PC for first.

    Pointless buying a Ferrari and then doing 4 trips to the school each morning to take each of your 4 little darlings there

      Well, it did include two of the worlds most highly regarded 30" screens!

      If you're an OS fascist and can't do with anything non-windows, perhaps alienware aurora - maxes out about £3K?

      Does use Athlons though, so it's a bit like comparing Apples to, well, lemons.

        Looks pretty complete, although I'd up the RAM to 8GB.

        But really, what do you want to do with it?

                    Sun do some very nice workstations, in AMD or Sparc flavours, not bad prices either.
                    Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!

                      Which is why I always have a newish medium spec machine.. Always good enough with latest software and doesn't cost much...
