Where to buy Office 24 or 365?

Where might one acquire Microsoft Office for a less than retail price these days?

And would I go for Office 2024 or 365?

To paint a picture, I've been using Office 2010 for the past 15 years until it wouldn't let me install on my new Win 11 PC. I just use Word and Excel, nothing fancy. I've looked at CD keys and some other less well known dodgy looking sites, which promise a key and download for just a few £.

No just need the software on my home PC. Ideally on 2 or 3 PCs.

If this is for your home PC (rather than work), Microsoft 365 Personal isn't that expensive:
Buy Microsoft 365 Personal (formerly Office 365) – Subscription Price | Microsoft Store
It's initially £85/year, but you can bring that down to £60/year if you don't care about Copilot. That subscription allows you to install it on up to 5 devices.

I know that doesn't exactly answer your question, but I wanted to highlight that the personal subscription is much cheaper than a business subscription.

If you've been using 2010 and been happy with it, and only need it for basic stuff, have you looked at free alternatives?

I've been trying LibreOffice as I'd really like to get rid of my M365 subscription. I'm a pretty light user of Word and Excel and the equivalents in LibreOffice seem to work OK so far. Lists and numbering are a bit janky, but I've never got on with them in Word either.

            Kinguin is a popular choice.
Originally a site specialising is selling used video games, they sell a lot of grey-market Microsoft licences at a very steep discount.
These Microsoft licenses were usually originally purchased by PC manufacturers for installation on new machines.
Microsoft doesn't like this, but I believe it's legal.
At least the licences usually work. And if they don't, you get a refund or replacement.
Some people have a problem with the grey market, google it and see.
