I use DaVinci Resolve for video editing - it’s free and it’s very powerful.
For photo editing I have a variety of software including (but not limited to: Apple Photos, Canon Digital Photo Professional, Darktable, GIMP, Topaz) - it all depends on how/what editing needs doing. I’m a bit old school and try to minimise post processing.
e.g. This one just required cropping off the bottom and left side.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

thanks, but i'm after serious enhancement of old home video type gigs etc.
i can extract and enhance sound ok.
i thought there'd be 'AI' products out there by now.
      i'll give daVinci a look.

I imagine that you’ll have to accept a cloud product if you want AI, that’s where the power supply is located for that kind of stuff (people gave you those recommendations because you want it on your own device).

yeh, i know, but i'm ever hopeful of not having to put my stuff on SES.
          DaVinci looks good.
bit of a learning curve though.
oh, well, - old dog > new trick, i suppose.

`Topaz Video is one of the best going but it's quite expensive. Not really for someone who buys Behringer studio gear.

What 'choochters' live on Bute you tit. It's on the same latitude as Glasgow.

The 'constructive' was in this case, Topaz, cause their stuff is pretty much the best on the market for the job you want to do. Is that not constructive enough for you ?

All the gear and no idea ? Given you know nothing about me, where do you get that from ? Maybe put your money where your mouth is and inspect my working recording studio and museum grade commercial printing facility. Fanny !

Note for SKB: ‘Banter’ is only banter when both parties recognise it as such, otherwise that’s when Mods step in.

                    Just sayin’.
