    Laptop Battery Indicator

So I recently changed the battery in my Toshiba laptop. The battery indicator is stuck on 79% remaining and never changes when being charged or if running not plugged in.

Do I need to re-set this battery indicator and if so how would I do this ?

WTF do you expect, this is an IT forum after all

                I like it.

I have made tons of money by just Googling what I didn't know.

                Its very useful

Thanks for reminding me why I don't use this forum as much these days...

I did in fact try a google search but have not found a solution that works (yet).

And it didn't occur to you that this might be a relevant fact to share in your opening post? Or share what you've tried that didn't work, so that helpful folk don't waste their time suggesting the same solution?

You're quite happy to waste our time, but as soon as you get called out on it, you get all huffy. Sad.
