Well, installed on my Surface Pro 3 today....and all seemed to be going just fine. Then, from some combination of me faffing (and trying to do my day job at ClientCo) I seemed to lose all internet access in Edge, most in IE11 and some in Chrome.....coupled with services like Weather app, and various others all going down....then the Microsoft Store....Bitdefender didn't seem happy either....and all ended up with an ugly Refresh and reinstall of apps.

So far, so good.....but time will tell! At least it was all on billed time

Had a little play with win 10 last night on my laptop/tablet hybrid and I'm not sure.

Desktop mode seemed to work ok though not learnt the short cuts yet (link below might be of use)

The Ultimate Guide to Windows 10 Keyboard Shortcuts

The action center seems a little cluttered, not really interested in seeing my emails there.

Switching between tablet mode and desktop works fine from the action center but when i use the start menu and select desktop, does not work.

Xbox could not connect, eventually seemed to work. Tried to stream the TV, but it failed with an error message.

Edge browser is ok, making notes on a website is a pretty good idea, though i think I will probably end up pasting a link into onenote and making notes there.

Cortana does work if you are in the UK. You can change the country and language settings to US but I can't be arsed so don't know how good this feature is.

Tablet mode seems to be better, the tiles are smaller though still have trouble with some apps when trying to view them in desktop mode.

The interface seems a little convoluted to be honest.

The "search the web and windows" works well.

Done it today, anti virus vanished so had to download a new version pronto

Everything seems to work, but had to switch off WifiSense as it had switched that on by default

I've had no issues with internet access dropping using IE or Edge, maybe I'm lucky or haven't tweaked it enough to break it yet
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Was tempted to post it in general for more people to see, but would have been a waste of a thread when one already existed here

                Actually Windows 2000 = 5.0. XP = 5.1. Vista = 6.0. Windows 7 = 6.1. Windows 8 = 6.2. Windows 8.1 = 6.3.

And Windows 10 is 10.0, so in Microsoft logic 3.7 better than 8.1.

Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Ssshhh! If they hear people talking about it, they might think there were some good bits they need to scavenge!

Also missed out the main versions people used:
                    Windows 3.1,
                    Windows 3.11 for workgroups,
                    NT3.51 &
                    NT4.0

(There were versions of NT before 3.51 but I don't remember them as being up to much)
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

If you do decide to upgrade, Scott Hanselman has done a few video tutorials that look good.
