They do a good pie, but we'll throw it open for tomorrow.

          Very true.

I've just said hello in there, but the place is deserted!

I went there when it was newly opened and it was good., but fell into the class of "mucky curry house". I suspect it has gone a bit up market since those days

Hang on minute. There was another Indian restaurant in a Portakabin opposite the Alhambra which was excellent. It's more likely that the owners of that moved into the present building.

Anyhoo, 30 years ago the one in that building had business cards billing themselves as "Bradford and Paris".

Seeing as 'ow I was living in Paris at the time I had to visit that one, and they denied all knowledge of the Bradford connection.

It was a bit of a painful experience because Indian cuisine was new in Paris back then and they were trying to explain every single dish to me. They had also cut too far back on the spices and heat for my British curry palate.

DT is a great airport. You never have to walk very far to your gate, though you may have to walk to the plane. There's no chance of getting lost or on the wrong plane either.

I've been out in Bradford on a Tuesday and a Wednesday and seen them shut the pubs at ten. Fack that.

Lets go somewhere where they at least sell alcohol. Have enough and you won't taste the curry.
Alcohol is there if you know where to look. We managed to get alcohol until about midnight even on a Christmas Day and that was a Pakistani (Muslim) establishment.

Are there any decent curry houses there? I tried one once but it wasn't worth going back when Bradford was just over the hill.
