DT is a great airport. You never have to walk very far to your gate, though you may have to walk to the plane. There's no chance of getting lost or on the wrong plane either.

It is. The fact I can arrive 15 minutes before take off and the staff greet me by name without looking at the passport should be emphasised.

The fact they can greet semi-regular customers by name is, however, a serious comment regarding the lack of flights.

Living in Leeds with a house in Spain, Jet2/LBIA have become a necessary evil, but they aren't that bad, most of their planes are ex SABENA so I find they have the best legroom of the no-frills airlines, which at 6'5" is a bonus!
