Do you want something that forecasts, or just tells you what's happening outside and you can collect the data?

cheers, but, as usual everything needs an 'app' which means no PC connection, unless you signup to some 'weather community'.
FFS doesn't anyone want privacy anymore?
all i want is local control of MY stuff, WITHOUT a mobile 'phone. FFS!

I think Lidl(tm) do one now & again, though I dunno weather or not it uses an ap, most of this stuff seems to these days, which is really convenient if you haven't got a suitable batphone.

Around here, if you can't see Drumau it's raining, if you can see Drumau it's about to rain..

You might be able to get something here: https://www.weathershop.co.uk/weathe...ather-stations
They have a filter for how you will view the data.

The one we have is the older model of this:
    https://www.weathershop.co.uk/bresse...tation-7002586
It has its own display (which requires plugging in)
While it also has an app, and you've said no to apps, it also has the ability to link to wunderground so you can view the data from that website.

Not sure if any of that is of any use, but maybe it's a start.
