I’ve not used Honest Mobile personally, but on paper it doesn’t look outrageous for what it is. The main selling point seems to be the automatic network switching, which is handy if you’re in areas where coverage varies a lot.

That said, £20–£45 a month is still quite a premium, and in practice a lot of people get decent results just sticking with an O2 or EE-based MVNO (like giffgaff or similar) unless they genuinely struggle with coverage day-to-day. Roaming across the EU is fairly standard now as well, so it’s not a huge differentiator unless their fair-use limits are noticeably better.

Personally, I’d only consider it if you’ve had repeated coverage issues on a single network and value the convenience of not thinking about it. Otherwise, it’s probably worth trying a cheaper SIM first and seeing if it actually solves the problem before paying extra for the switching feature.

If the following EU and other countries meet your needs, I can highly recommend giffgaff. They piggyback off O2, and I've not had any problems with coverage.

I contracted with giff gaff for some time and I can tell you that they are genuinely nice people. The company treated it's people well and they truly loved each other.

One thing that would put me off them is Vodafone. Was with them for about 3 years and it wasn't great. Having said that, it was mainly their website, billing and customer service that was the problem rather than the network, so Lebara might be fine.

I'm with Spusu (I left O2 due to their price rise), they use EE (which is the strongest signal where we live) £5.99 a month for 10GB and free roaming in the same list as O2, but including Switzerland.

Never heard of it.

I have always used Airalo for roaming data eSIMs, or get roaming in the EU with O2.

Anybody have a smart sim by honest mobile? Seems a very good deal at £10 a month or £45 for the year. You get to use any network when coverage is poor, automatically switches. And you get free data roaming in 180 countries.
Just wondering if its as good as it sounds and if there any issues?
