    +1 , there's nothing in europe equivalent to UK OS maps.
    this one's great for france though

    Have a look at ign.fr. Don’t have such blanket coverage as OS but we got walking maps for the Lake Annecy area. Seem to remember getting the maps From specialist online retailer rather than amazon

    The local tourist office might have something.

    A few years ago I was trying to find similar. There is no OS equivalent in France (or if there is the maps are retained by the military unlike the UK ones).

    There's plenty of hiking shops in the towns round there. Chambery, Albertville, Bourg St. Maurice etc. that will sell hiking maps. The scale might not be as fine as you want though, we are spoiled by the OS.
