Looking at getting this, as I paid 50 notes for a hozelock hose/reel last year and the thing leaks all over the place and kinks all the time (supposed not to).
Apparently Gardena are very good but on their website they have three! types of hose.

I went with the 25m version of this last year for £90 and I have to say it is really rather good
He is busy with the drainage problem in the lower pasture.
Is that a euphemism?
Anyway, hose alone, I'd expect to pay £1 per metre for cheap, and up to £2 for better quality, so for a normal contractor's garden, you're dropping £500 on the hose*
*if you have standpipes conveniently located down a centre line of each section of garden.
