    In that case, apology accepted.

I suggest you now let this thread fade away, but of course, bumping it every three days remains your prerogative if that's how you wish to proceed.

Sounds like your approach to contracting.

Try taking your time deciding what to order at McDonalds when she's behind you in the queue...

Thanks Suity that made my day.

Has there ever been a thread where you asked for help and didn't end up haranguing those who responded?

What does concern me is that posters (such as MS) stagger in here with clearly no expertise whatsovever (in Oracle) and start making a peanut gallery of the forum, with their wildly innappropriate posts about alternative DBMSs.

If you look at the original post, I mean actually read the fecking thing, you will note :

    a)

It is already about building dynamic strings to execute

    b)

    It is about Oracle

So at this point 2 things should be abundantly clear :

    1) This has nothing to do with parameterised queries
    2) This has nothing to do with SQL Server.

Sadly, however the peanut gallery has not only tossed in their peanuts, but also tossed their toys out of the pram completely inappropriately.

My best advise is, if you see a topic in Technical you don't have at least 2 years experience in, don't post.
