Did think to die intestate & nominate my useless nephew to sort out the chaos.

Trouble is it wouldn't be down to him/her/it, rather to his sister & my sister, so that idea has bitten the dust.

    Afternoon all

Another cloud-free day. Currently 17 degrees with a high of 18 expected. Feels chilly though, in the shade. Barometer down to 1025 mBar.

    Sunrise 05:47; Sunset 20:13 BST

Only a few meetings, and no dramas. Just how I like it.

    Shopping done!

As predicted, not a huge amount to get. But I remembered to use a voucher for 80p that they’d sent me, being some Nectar Prices that hadn’t been applied the other week for some reason

Upon returning home, I found a notification on my phone concerning another voucher for the same reason, this time for £1.34

Still a nice, sunny day out. Just a few wisps of cloud starting to appear near the horizon

    Morning denizens

It’s another sunny day with a clear bleu sky, and expected to continue so. It’s 9°C and aiming for 17° again, with the barometers down a little at 1016/1024mB

I’ll be going shopping shortly but I don’t need much, so I’ll just pop up to Not-as-Big Sainsbury’s

    Morning.

    Friday.

    Dry.

    Sunny.

    Blue sky.

15.9 deg in here, 15 in the kitchen, 14 in the leanto.

1019.5 mBar, 30.1 in Hg, 764.7 Torr, 14.787 psi, (down from 1020 last night), 63% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 25th of March 2020 Brillo popped in a lot, whilst BR14, LM, NF, and I managed to squeeze a post in here & there.

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked. Shopping trip to Boots to get what I forgot about yesterday, only to find it wasn't in stock.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: some oiks waffling on about religious revival. <click>

Instead the R4 thing about the 7 deadly sins.

Box room back together. Somewhere in there is a screwdriver I've just lost FFS. I hate it when that happens.

And a phone call on my bat phone. Haven't had one of those for ages.

Now getting outside a mug of mediocre yet consistent coffee.

I wonder WTF that screwdriver went. .

This evening I went to meet a friend who I hadn't seen for a good two years. I was apprehensive but it turned out to be a good evening.

Farringdon was bedlam on arrival and we were lucky to find a pub that had a couple of seats.

Tea has been M&S slow-cooked chicken chasseur, with chips and peas. It turned out to be very nice indeed! I’ll get that again

This was accompanied by a bit of the motorway cops thing. I don’t know what’s going on with Traffic Cops, but all but one episode of the current series have been taken down! Didn’t stop them showing me a trailer for it in the ad break though

Almost clear blue sky today - just the merest of wisps here and there. Warm too, being 16°C and aiming for 17°; the barometers are up to 1019/1027mB

Sunny. No wisps or fluffs from my vantage point. Currently 17 degrees with a high of 18 expected. Looks like the wind has died down. Barometer up to 1030 mBar.

    Sunrise 05:49; Sunset 20:11 BST

Busy morning. Had to suffer being shown how to use Azure DevOps by someone who doesn't know how to use it Many meetings with people at Gig2 this afternoon.

Oh and laundry done, so the washing basket is empty for a few hours.

Couldn't find any settings related to time on Freesat box but it was ok when I used it later. Swearing at it must have sorted it. Off to Mahjongy morning soon.

    Morning.

Thursday. Where does the time go?

    Dry.

    Sunny.

    Blue sky.

    Breezy.

NotChilly in here at 15.2 deg, 15.5 in the kitchen, 13 in the leanto.

1023 mBar, 30.21 in Hg, 767.3 Torr, 14.8373 psi, (up from 1020 last night), 63% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 25th of March 2020 Brillo popped in A Lot & missed the century , whilst LM, vetran, and I managed to get a post in edgeways.

Shopping trip to that Tesco done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Still couldn't find any furniture polish.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: Scam watch. Sliced bread waffling on about intense light hair removal. TWATO: more about those lovely zionists killing journalists. And now we have one saying they "never kill journalists". FFS.

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away: enough furniture polish to keep me going for a while.

Shopping trip to Boots wherein it was discovered that the £64 of points had expired. Why do I feel that Boots are unlikely to receive any more of my custom from now on? There's a feeling in my water that this may be the case.

I had a Freesat HD box die on the HD output: the SD output still worked. .

More cleaning springs in the box room. 3 bookshelves cleaned & polished.

Tea: beans on toast with scrambled egg etc.Nice enough. Entertainment: PM. <orange mother****er <click>>

U&eden: Lucy Worsley investigates: The witch hunts. The Black Death.

Alba: Leonardo E3/4. Dozed through some of that.

Lucy Worsley investigates: Madness of King George.

True crime: Britain's almost perfect murders. <click> Not watching that one. .

Just discovered I'd missed out on a shedload of Morrisons vouchers too. .
