This evening's viewings comprised catching up on last week's Great British Menu and Surgeons, the one before the most recent.
-
This evening's viewing was the RAF thing, which included the sad business of the Squadron Leader who died when his Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight crashed, just a few days after they'd been filming him training Tornado pilots
And later, a bit more of Caledonian Road
Early night now, wondering if I'll feel better or worse in the morning
Goodnight all

Tea has been minced lamb, fried up with certain spices and some Turkish red pepper paste, accompanied by a tomato sauce (I even used real, fresh, cherry tomatoes!) also involving spices and red pepper paste (including a bit of the chilli one this time to add a bit of a kick), all with chips. Very nice it was
And for the record, the recipe includes chips - that wasn't just me having chips with everything, as is so often the case

Today, I have progressed from feeling a bit below par to being out of sorts, and then to under the weather

Morning.
Monday.
Dry.
Sunny.
Chilly in here at 14.8 deg, 13 deg in the kitchen, 12.5 in the leanto, 8.8 in the saltinghouse.
1014 mBar, 29.9434 in Hg, 760.56 Torr, 14.7 psi, (up from 1009 last night), 61% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 4th of January 2020 BR14 and Brillo popped in, NF had a restless night, as did I, whereas the Leicester rugby football and association football companies had arranged matches at different times on that day to make sure the entire place was overwhelmed.
Washing frenzy in progress.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.
Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the intolerable heat & sunshine.
Two brimstone butterflies spotted.
Lunch: brunch:
Entertainment: TWATO.
More potching in next door's shed extracting stuff that's taking up space (apparently).
I've managed to separate the workbench from the wall but I suspect said window will collapse shortly. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.:.
Feck me there's a lot of stuff in the garage now. How the feck I'm going to move it all around to fit the workbench in is a mystery.
That which requires the iRon is about to experience it once I've finished my coffee.
Tea: chicken in white sauce etc.
Entertainment: PM. The 18:30 comedy thing.
Thing on PBS about The Kennedys.
Thing about the Somerset & Dorset From Above.
The Skinwalker Ranch bollox on Blaze.
NCIS S21 E10 "Reef Madness": hope it's a lot better than last week's truly dire offering. WTF? it's the S21 finale. It was better. Which considering how dire last week's was, isn't saying a great deal.
War Machine: WWII on PBS. Land. Rifles, tanks, big guns etc.

Morning all
Overcast and grey out, and I've come down with the gastric flu my wife had last week. That probably means I've infected a load of people in Mallorca and on the flights there and back.

Morning denizens
Grey but mild start again, no more rain having happened overnight. 5°C now ("feels like" 2°, though TBH it doesn't seem that breezy) with an expected high of 13° accompanied by sunshine this afternoon. The barometers are heading back up at 1006/1014mB

Just in time bed making has been done.
The journey home from Mum's was quite tedious but I did discover a few new roads about these parts that, should ever remember them, could prove useful in the future.
