
I didn't get around to putting it on until about half four, so it only had a couple of hours. Rookie mistake - it really needs three or four hours at around 120°C, sealed in under foil, before uncovering it and whacking the heat up to finish it off. Ah well, I'll remember next time

This was accompanied by the second half of an episode of Police Interceptors which featured the rare case of one of them allowing a bloke whose vehicle had been deemed unroadworthy (bald tyres, broken lights including indicators, didn't even have a horn) to finish his journey to work, as it was literally just round the corner and he worked at a car restorers. You more often see the New Zealand cops doing that than the Notts ones
