Arty thing this morning.
Getting messages on MS Teams from an "attractive young lady" wanting a photo of me. Nowt suspicious there! Maybe I'll send her one, that would scare even the worst scammers off. Had a scam phone call this morning about loft insulation. One of those days.

Another day done, and half the working week out of the way
Having spent much of yesterday and this morning trying to deal with one last small detail that was messing up the three impossible things I got working last week, I finally cracked it this afternoon!

Afternoon all
Sunny! With clouds. Currently 12 degrees and that's the high for the day. Barometer down to 1014 mBar.
Sunrise 06:27; Sunset 17:57 GMT
Busy morning. Many meetings.
Finally getting the pillowcases etc. washed now that I've gotten around to putting the cleaned duvet cover away.
Lunch was a cheese and ham toasted sandwich.

Lunch has been a cold sausage bap (white)
It’s rather Simpsonesque out now, though it still seems to be a bit chilly, judging by the fresh air coming from the open kitchen window

Morning.
Tuesday.
Dry.
Wanly sunny.
Grey.
Chilly in here at 13.7 deg, 1 something in the kitchen, 12 in the leanto.
1010 and a tad mBar, 29.83 in Hg, 757.7 Torr, 14.65 psi, down from 1012 last night.
Meanwhile on the 19th of March 2020 NF twinged his back cooking tea, then wheeled out the recycling wheelie bin, LM, and I popped in, whilst on the 20th Brillo, WTFH, and BR14 started the day off by popping in.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the wan sunshine, grey gloom & picking with rain.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: The 11:45 R4 thing again, this time with Bliar. TWATO.
First cut of the big lawn, during which the picking with rain turned into drizzle but done it got. The compost heap is now well over 6 feet.
Lots of moss: I can see another champion year for moss disposal & I haven't shifted last year's yet.
Entertainment: Ancient Aliens bollox about Gobekli Tepe. Remarkable construction for 12,000 years ago. Showed stonehenge: 9000 years later. Easter Island: 11,000 years later.
Tea: soup etc. Nice enough. Entertainment: PM. More bollox, this time Orange
PBS: Armstrong. 1202 alarm. One small step.

Morning denizens
The weather app insists it’s cloudy out, but in reality there’s quite a lot of cirrus and cirrostratus with plentiful gaps of blue sky between, so it’s actually sunny right now with occasional brief spells of shade. Apparently it’s going to get windy, leading to the claim that the current 6°C “feels like” 2°, and presumably the expected high of 11° will be similarly attenuated. The barometers are down a little at 1003/1011mB

I read more of The Three-Body Problem, which I’m enjoying - the story seems to be developing in an interesting direction
And I also got a bit of SwiftUI stuff working that I’d thought would be more complicated than it turned out to be
Goodnight all

Tea: lamb steaks with chips and beans
This was accompanied by the final part of the Netflix thing about Three Mile Island. The capitalists got their way, as usual

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: last 15 mines of "Understand: how reading changed our brains", Gordon Corera's 2023 series about the glories of Gulf War II, the previous time our glorioius septic allies bombed the tulip of people in the name of "Freedom". Bliar stars in tomorrow's ep.
. Fecking murdering lying bastard mother****er that he is. Not that I'm in any way judgemental.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the grey gloom with some wan sunshine towards the end.
Tea: Mr Brains faggots with peas & suchlike comestibles. Entertainment: PM. <click> UFO bollox on Blaze: it's UFO week, just in case anyone gives a tulip.
.
Skinwalker Ranch bollox on Blaze: the even more bolloxy version of The Money Pit with added UFOs, lasers, radiation detectors, UFO detectors, CCTV, giant wolves and more nutjobs than yyou can shake a stick at.
All they miss out on are vikings, the Romans, the Knights Templar. But they do have a UFO buried under the mesa, so that makes up for it all.
NCIS S22 E8 "Out of control". An out of control car that's driving itself. Obviously made by an associate of The Boring Company.
. Goodness me, I hope it's not that easy to hack a car.
