^ I had a look at it yesterday but only did one map. I might have another go when I do my daily map.

    Morning all

Cloudy again. Currently 7 degrees with a high of 14 expected. The sun may poke through but seems unlikely. Slight chance of a shower around lunchtime. Barometer up to 1022 mBar.

    Sunrise 05:52; Sunset 18:23

    More coffee needed.

Has anyone else tried the Scrambled Maps Challenge yet? You have to complete three quickly, and then you get ranked. It's a bit of fun.

    Morning.

    Tuesday.

    Dry.

    Grey.

    Wanly sunny.

Chilly in here at 14.3 deg, 12.5 in the kitchen, 12.5 in the leanto.

1019 mBar, 30.09 in Hg, 764.3 Torr, 14.779 psi, (up from 1018 last night), 59% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 4th of January 2020 Brillo popped in, BR14 popped in somewhat displeased with his partner's brother, the Ghost of Tabera popped in, whereas I was watching "The Philadelphia Experiment" and "The Final Countdown (1980)", this latter being a time travel tale taking the USS Nimitz back to December 6th 1941.

A few light, whispy clouds, but otherwise CBS, a cool 5C earlier, but pleasant enough for walking. This gastric flu thing is not very nice, but the omeprazole seems to be helping a little. I just feel like I have a 2 day hangover while someone is stabbing the back of my throat with needles.

Load of washing on, hope to get it out and dry before The Wife gets back from work tonight.

    Morning denizens

Grey and rainy morning out there. Fairly mild still, at 8°C aiming for 14°; the barometers are up a little at 1009/1017mB

Yesterday's generalised malaise has resolved itself overnight into a cold: rather sore throat, bunged up nose, and the generalised malaise rumbling along beneath it all like an idling diesel engine. Covid test negative

Oh well, if I make it to lunchtime I can book it as a full day on the timesheet

This evening's viewings comprised catching up on last week's Great British Menu and Surgeons, the one before the most recent.

This evening's viewing was the RAF thing, which included the sad business of the Squadron Leader who died when his Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight crashed, just a few days after they'd been filming him training Tornado pilots

And later, a bit more of Caledonian Road

Early night now, wondering if I'll feel better or worse in the morning

    Goodnight all

Tea has been minced lamb, fried up with certain spices and some Turkish red pepper paste, accompanied by a tomato sauce (I even used real, fresh, cherry tomatoes!) also involving spices and red pepper paste (including a bit of the chilli one this time to add a bit of a kick), all with chips. Very nice it was

And for the record, the recipe includes chips - that wasn't just me having chips with everything, as is so often the case

Today, I have progressed from feeling a bit below par to being out of sorts, and then to under the weather

Overcast and grey out, and I've come down with the gastric flu my wife had last week. That probably means I've infected a load of people in Mallorca and on the flights there and back.
