Morning denizens
Grey start again and very damp, though it's unclear whether there's been rain or it's just an extremely heavy dew. Once again it's not too cold for the season of the year, being 9°C rising to 13°. The barometers are up a touch more at 1019/1027mB
Thursday! Just got to get through today and my weekend starts, and then there's only five more weeks to get through before I finish for Christmas!

Morning.
Thursday as confirmed by the recycling engineers travelling along the road singing their happy songs.
Dry.
Grey.
Gloomy.
Sunless.
Chilly in here at 16.1 deg, 16 deg in the kitchen, 14 deg in the leanto.
1024 mBar, in Hg, Torr, psi, (down a tad from last night), 65% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 28th of November 2019 BR14 was back on the bench after 8 days, the client being unable to support remote working, whereas NF was noting that a couple of s wandered up to the GP's gate, discovered they were shut on Thursday afternoons, then wandered off again, disappointed. (This has twice attended the dentist surgery to change appointments only to find it like the Marie Celeste with one young lady taking any messages. She locks herself in which seems sensible to me).

Tea tonight was chicken madras with rice and naan
I put a bit too much water in the rice machine. "Don't suppose it'll make much difference," I thought. I was wrong, though, so the rice wasn't right. I'll get the hang of it though
This was accompanied by E3 of A House Through Time
And finally, I finished Casino so now I can watch the film
Thursday tomorrow!
Goodnight all

I seem to have picked up a sniffle.
Today's interview was ok. Got through to the next round, where I have to do a presentation about stuff. This is for a FTC role that will require me to be in Crawley 2-3 days a week. However, they have booked the second interview for next week, when I'll be in Seattle.

Got a text message telling me I could book a Covid jab. When I checked the NHS app to do so, it turned out there'd been a message in there about it since the middle of October, which I hadn't seen because I don't make a point of checking the NHS app for messages on the regular
Anyway, all sorted now - getting it done at a nearby pharmacy tomorrow lunchtime

My new Mac Mini has shipped from Shenzhen!
Current estimated arrival is Monday. That's mildly annoying, as I was hoping to get it on Friday and have the weekend to set it up and have a play

Morning all
Dull and overcast yet again. Ground was wet when I left the house. Currently 9 degrees with a high of 12 expected. No rain forecast. Barometer up to 1031 mBar according to my weather app but I forgot to check my home barometer before I left for the office.
Workshop at ClientCo this morning then back home at lunchtime for an interview.

Gloomy here, but not quite as gloomy as in Ukraine and Lebanon this morning.

Another grey start, and looking a little misty too. Mild again too, being 9°C and expected to reach 14°, with the barometers back up to 1018/1026mB
Interesting news from across the pond

Morning.
Wednesday.
Kiss Ukraine & NATO bye bye.
Dry.
Grey.
Gloomy.
Sunless.
Chilly in here at 15.8 deg, 16 deg in the kitchen, 14 deg in the leanto.
1024 mBar, 30.238 in Hg, 768.1 Torr, 14.85 psi, (up from 1017 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).
Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the grey gloom.
Both grandparents' graves duly tidied up a bit: the maternal one needs some attention: the sides & corners are loose & no longer cemented to anything. Then again the last interment was in 1967.
Lunch: there was brunch.
Entertainment: there's anything entertaining?
Weeded my parents' & my brother's grave: there were a lot of weeds.
I'll try improving the soil a bit then seed some grass so the strimmers will have something proper to strim.
Freecell score: dire.
Tea: soup etc.
Entertainment: there's something entertaining?
Freecell score: equally dire.
Read book.
Freecell score: just as dire.
Maigret: the one with the abortionist dentist.

This evening's only viewing was a new episode of Police Interceptors
And later, I read more of Casino. Almost finished that now
It's Tuesday night, which means I'm halfway through the week!
Goodnight all

Spag bol for tea
That was the last of it out of the freezer, so I need to make some more. I quite fancy making shepherd's pie soon too. Looks like I'll be loading up on mince
