Finished work, went to the beach. MMtSH and The Wife went for a swim. I chose not too, even though it was very tempting. Last day on antibiotics, and I really don’t want to get an infection.

Tea: pork cutlet with chips and beans
Bit of a breeze returning now, though a bit more would be nice

Lunch has been some chicken bits
Warming up again, not helped by the slight breeze apparently dying down for now

Morning
Wednesday
Dry.
Warm side of cool in here at 21.5 deg, 22.5 deg in the kitchen, 22 deg in the leanto.
1008 mBar, 29.766 in Hg, 756.06 Torr, 14.6198 psi, (down from 1010 last night), 78% RH (GDR hair), 74% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 13th of October 2019 Joan of Arcadia had a rest and was replaced with that little known epic by the name of BTVS, the surprise being that Amy the Rat appears in S1 E3, combined with the factoid that the boxset was worth all of 3p on some site or other according to DaveB, whereas NF noted it was Diwali and a full moon, later watching S4 eps of "Breaking Bad".
And now for the good news from this morning's delve: the clap is becoming more popular and monkey pox has developed a new clade that doesn't require sexual contact & causes miscarriages, all spread by some oik who visited a myriad of sex workers in some African hell hole*.
*Other hellholes are available.
Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the terrible heat. There appeared to be a lack of horseflies this morning.
Lunch: scrambled egg etc.
Entertainment: Y&Y. TWATO. The Michael Sheen thing about dumping toxic tulipe in Wales.
Veronica Mars S3 E18 "I know what you'll do next summer".Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; Today, 19:17.

Morning denizens
Sunny start but with a high haze diffusing the dazzling rays. Currently what passes for "cool" this week at 17°C, aiming for 27° again. There's a very light breeze, and the little side window in the living room is doing a good job of channeling it directly towards my seat, somewhat compensating for the temperature of 25° here in the living room. The barometers are down another notch at 1003/1011mB

Dinner was had in Heathrow Terminal 5's Concord Room and very nice it was too. My flight is delayed so I had time for three courses. With accompanying beverages.
Now waiting for when the plane up to Glasgow actually turns up.
I could really do with a break; I'm fed up to the back teeth with this project. I'm thinking of taking a week off soon, but I'll also be taking a week off for my niece's wedding in September so I'll probably just end up sticking it out until then

Tea: steak & caramelised onion burger (plus sesame bun etc.) and chips
Still very warm here, and the decorative clouds have cleared off. There's a slight breeze though, which is keeping a bit of air circulation going through the flat

Lunch: Greggs sausage rolls
Still warm and sunny, with some big cumuli hither and yon as decoration
I must have slept at the wrong angle last night as I've got a terrible crick in my neck today
