Went into the office for a meeting that no-one else came in for, and it ended up being on Teams.
My "innovative" crayon drawing got presented to the client, heavily promoted by chap at ConsultancyCo, so now it will be the key element of driving discussion at Wednesday's workshop that I hadn't been invited to. Now I have been invited, I see it clashes with a job interview, so I've had to reschedule that.Leave a comment:

Been feeling a bit lurgified today, yet again
I felt quite off last night, and today brought sniffles and occasional sneezing along with a bit of a chesty cough getting started, as well as a headache that was bad enough by lunchtime that I took a couple of paracetamol
However, I decided to go for my walk just now, in case it made me feel better. It hasn't, but it hasn't made me feel any worse either and I got some exercise, so I reckon that's a win
No idea where I would have picked something up from though, given that I haven't been anywhere. Maybe Porton Down have started using Amazon or Deliveroo to help out with one of their experiments in spreading "harmless" experimental viruses

1021 and a tad mBar, 30.156 in Hg, 765.96 Torr, 14.81 psi, (down from 1021 and two tads last night), 70% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 27th of November 2019 there was a sunny afternoon around here, whereas there was much discussion of the elderly* with UTI & the resulting unpleasantness, BR14's contract was going tits up, I was watching yet more BTVS & Angel, this latter having the revelation of the presence of Summer Glau in the ballet ep (there was a ballet ep?).

Morning all
Dull, cloudy, dry. Currently 10 degrees with a high of 12 expected. Barometer down a snifter to 1025 mBar.
On the drive home from Mum's yesterday I spotted what looked like a bird of prey on the side of the A24, with a mouse a few feet away in the road. Both very dead. Couldn't stop to see what bird it was or whether it had been ringed for tracking.
I'm used to seeing hedgehogs, foxes, pigeons, etc but this was my first "proper" bird.Leave a comment:

Grey start yet again. Getting a bit chillier overall too, being 8°C with no better than 12° expected. I seem to have neglected to record yesterday's readings, but the barometers are at 1015/1023mB today which I think is about the same as it has been

The usual Monkey Life marathon kept the TV busy this morning. Didn't pay attention to much else until teatime, when I watched the latest episode of Ambulance
Oh, and I did a bedding wash, so the day hasn't been completely without purpose or achievements
Monday again tomorrow, but what can you do?

Tea has been the Turkish chicken, tomato and potato thing with lots of spices, out of the freezer, with rice. Very nice
The rice-cooking machine did a fine job again
