We had a little rain this afternoon! It served to wash away the last of the snow on the cars and most other places, though some lingers in the big flowerbed in the centre of the lawn. There's expected to be more overnight though, starting anytime from now onwards and potentially going on for ages, so the respite will be short-lived

Currently snowing lightly. High of -2.

It was -8°C when I went into town to the haematology dept of the hospital. What do these people want from me? Blood? ... oh yeah, that's exactly what they want.

    Morning all

Dry and bright with lumps of fluff. Currently -3 degrees ('feels like' -6) with a high of 3 expected. Looks like there could be some form of precipitation but a minimal amount if it does happen. Barometer up to 1018 mBar.

    Sunrise 08:06; Sunset 16:09 GMT

Due to the need to properly cover the windows to keep the cold out, I am not being gently awoken in the morning by the sun rising. This morning I dozed through most of my alarm and was only fully roused by the R4 Today programme with whoever it was interviewing Kemi Badenoch.

    Morning.

    Tuesday.

    White.

    Sunny.

Cold in here at 10.1 deg, 8 deg in the kitchen, 3 deg in the leanto, 1.8 deg in the saltinghouse, the temperature of the latter being boosted with lightbulb (100W) to stop stuff freezing.

1015 mBar, 29.973 in Hg, 761.3 Torr, 14.72 psi, (down from 1016 last night), 51% RH (Lidl electric)

Meanwhile on the 10th of March 2020 LM, Brillo, and LondonManc popped in, and NF now had Opening Windows at Ye Olde Flatte.

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Only went due to running out of milk.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: some tosh about new year's resolutions or somesuch. Noon o'clock news. Y&Y <click>

    It's now raining.

CBS, -2C out and no breeze, so the walk wasn't too bad. Also, the road is still dry and not icy.

    Morning denizens

Bit cloudier today, but still cold: -3°C (“feels like” -7°) but with a higher expected high of 3°. There’s a 65% likelihood of snow towards midnight tonight, along with increasing wind; weirdly, this is when that highest temperature is expected to be reached. The barometers are up to 1004/1012mB

I need to get to bed earlier as I went straight back to sleep after the first two alarms, thereby losing half-an-hour. It's a tradeoff between spending time relaxing in the evening or the morning, but I like to start the day slowly and contemplatively if I can; I’ve never been one of those “up and at ‘em” types
