Lunch has been a bit of leftover curry and naan, cold

I need to go to the chemist’s for the usual monthly bag of pills, which were delayed this month because of the annual medication review stuff meaning I haven’t got any of most of them left and can’t postpone it. Quite annoying, as it’s getting very warm. But apparently it’ll cloud over later in the afternoon so I’m putting it off until then; I may as well avoid getting sunburnt as well as overheated

HWMBO is putting on a BBQ this afternoon for a few members of his family (his favourite niece and her kids) while I slave away working. That said, I'd rather not be hanging around a BBQ in this weather.

Misty earlier (a bit like yesterday) but it's now burned off.
Even though hot air is supposed to rise, the downstairs of the house is a lot warmer than upstairs. Windows are open, but it appears that local farmers must be muck spreading.

Cloudy start and the weather app thinks we’re getting some light rain right now and for an hour or so, though we aren’t; maybe it’ll show up soon. It’s 18°C (“feels like” 15°) and expected to reach 26° before getting proper hot over the next few days. The barometers are down a touch at 1004/1012mB

It’s odd that the recent hot spells don’t seem to be associated with particularly high pressure. I’d expect it to go much higher than that when 30°+ is expected in the next couple of days

I forgot to close the bedroom windows and blinds and it got up to 28°C in there by the time I remembered

But that was about three hours ago and it’s dropped back to a slightly more reasonable 24° already

I’d been meaning to change the bed over the weekend but kept forgetting, so I’ve left the mattress to air for now and will make it later, when it may even be a bit cooler

From what little I recall from nearly 60 years ago, falling off a James motor scooter at about 10 mph along a red ash road is pretty unpleasant. I dread to think what 100mph is like. .

Been wasting all morning trying to solve a MySQLI database problem for my small company. I deleted some columns for products we don't sell anymore, but when I list orders it is still using the old structure. WTF???

Do you need to re-define indices and clear caches?
