Afternoon all
Dull, overcast, wet. It's that fine 'mizzle' type rain. Currently 16 degrees with a high of 17 possible. There may be a hint of sun late afternoon. Barometer at 1020 mBar.
Sunrise 06:57; Sunset 18:45 BST
Long lie in. Didn't go to visit Mum. Reminded my brother to book flu jabs. Debating whether to leave the house to fetch more lemsips and other alleged symptom relieving chemicals. Will see if the rain stops in the next hour.
One thing I do find frustrating is Sunday trading hours. They don't have such restrictions north of the wall.

Morning denizens
Ended up having a sleep in, for which much thanks! It's a grey day out with evidence of rain, or at least a shower, earlier. There was a brief sunny spell about twenty minutes ago but that was shut down very quickly. It's 14°C and aiming to reach 17°, so maybe quite mild for the time of year? Anyway, that's how it'll continue for the rest of the week, maybe even a bit warmer some days. The barometers are much the same at 1008/1016mB
I've just put the two-thirds duvet in the washing machine, now with some detergent suitable for down-filled items. Once it's washed, it'll probably take much of the day to gently dry it completely, if my experience with the one-third one the other week is any guide

Dunno if to spend day by meself or take loony lady 2 somewhere. Hard to find anywhere now she's so feeble. Problem with my area, it's all so hilly and rough. Can still feel that nettle sting today!

Morning.
Sunday.
Dry.
Sunny.
Sort of hazy blue sky.
Chilly in here at 17.4 deg, 16 in the kitchen, 14.5 in the leanto.
1015 mBar, 29.97 in Hg, 761.3 Torr, 14.72 psi, (up from 1011 last night), 60% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 19th of February 2020 I watched yet more ST, BR14 was watching S1 E8 of Hill Street and finding the angst too irritating, whereas NF was watching something Nordic with characters I can't find on the keyboard and everyone had a nice tea.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Must remember to take Morrisons card out of shirt pocket since I don't want to wash it again this week.
I've never washed a duvet: am I a slut? Just askin' like..
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: my tinnitus, which is getting louder by the day.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; Today, 10:43.

I too succeeded in making my bed and lying in it
The usual glut of wildlife stuff was on the box today. Mostly repeats though

Early night now. Will I manage to Get Things Done tomorrow after a good night's sleep? We shall see…
Goodnight all

Back home in that London. Uneventful journey, just how I like it.
The bed has been made. Now to have a lemsip and sleep in it.

Club suite on BA was nice, currently in the Al Mourjan lounge in Doha. They could do with cranking up the air conditioning.

Had a bonfire earlier and got stung by damn nettles. Can still feel it over 3 hours later.

The man with a van that I hired to bring heavy stuff over from the old flat is back! He's moving furniture into the other end of the adjacent block, presumably into the flat that was vacated by the people with the guitars over the course of the past week

Sausage bap (white) for lunch. Nice sausages
I've also left the bed to air and will therefore have to remember to remake it later. The used bedding is now in the wash
