Morning denizens
It's cloudy with a light breeze out there today. Warm enough at 18°C though, rising to 24° this afternoon. The barometers are up again at 1006/1013
Monkey Life has been moved earlier today, apparently because of some football thing in the afternoon. I certainly didn't ask for that
Having had croissants with strawberry jam for breakfast, I need to start getting ready to head to the BBQ soon

Tonight's major motion picture wasn't a premiere, but it's a few years since I watched it: Saving Private Ryan (1998). I still don't think it's the best war film ever, but the action sequences are exceptional
Early night now due to BBQ journey tomorrow
Goodnight all

Tea has been a Sainsbury's special offer from last week, being assorted barbecue beef bits: short ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. Nice enough with chips, though those generic BBQ sauces all seem much of a muchness to me
It said it served four so I assumed it would serve two, as in one now with one portion left over, but maybe "serves three" is nearer the mark. Plenty to go in the fridge, at any rate
And it was accompanied by Trucking Hell

After me morning walky went to a local pub and sat in garden gnoshing a cheese toasty. Very fat topless bloke sitting nearby with jeans way down showing me his bum crack. Why is it always blokes who do that??

A somewhat busy morning delayed me, but I managed a lunchtime dash to the closer Sainsbury's for various bits. That one doesn't have a hot food counter, so lunch instead has been a cold chicken leg and a bag of plain crisps. I do like a bit of cold roast chicken in warm weather

Morning all
Bright and breezy with lumps of fluff scurrying across the sky. Currently 21 degrees with a high of 24 expected. No rain forecast. Barometer down a snifter to 1012 mbar.
The gardener finally got back to me yesterday and Mum is now booked in for Thursday next week.

Meanwhile on the 30th of October 2019 there was discussion of making rice pudding in the microwave, mundane washing, when the Rover P4 changed from Whitworth bolts to AF (whatever thread), the fairly mediocre BTVS "Beer Bad", WTFH was having a quiet day with the dog, his Mrs was off on a spa day, while LM was watching Lucy Worsley followed by a prog about weasles, whereas NF was watching something about Lehman Brothers.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.
Lunch: scrambled egg etc.
Entertainment: some twaddle on the Y&Y spot, TWATO, and the thing about asbestos in talc.

Morning denizens
Quite a sunny start but still very breezy after a blustery night. Already up to 16°C on its way to 23° while the barometers are down a bit at 998/1006mB
Friday!
And as I seem to have neglected to record the fact, yesterday's tea was chunky breaded cod with chips and beans, meaning it was quite a day for breaded fish products
