Tea has been lamb steaks with chips and beans

I seasoned the steaks with a bit of ras-el-hanout before frying them. Turned out very nice indeed

This was accompanied by more of the Netflix hunt for Bin Laden thing

    Another day done

Despite a plethora of meetings, I had about an hour free this afternoon to get some really good work done. Very pleased with it

Actually got some proper wok done this morning
    despite the PM.

Lunch was Penne with Pesto and Parmesan, - should Prevent Piss Poor Performance, I hope.

    Lunch: roast beef bap (white)

And before that, I popped round to the chemist's for the usual monthly stuff. Quite a nice day in terms of the visuals, but I wore the warm coat because it's pretty chilly too

    Morning all

Sunny with high level wisps. Currently 13 degrees ('feels like' 11) and that's the high for the day. Barometer up to 1007 mBar.

    Sunrise 06:48; Sunset 16:41 GMT

I forgot to put the bins out yesterday and only remembered when I heard the racket earlier this morning. There wasn't much to be collected so waiting a fortnight isn't much hardship. However, I do need to sweep up the leaves in the garden and try to remember putting the garden waste bag out next week.

    Forum loading very slowly today.
It was overcast with light drizzle earlier, but that has cleared and now we have clear blue skies.

    Morning.

    Tuesday <checks clock> Yes. Tuesday.

Yet another horrible jobs dream. I hate those. Much as I've hated so many jobs.

    Damp.

    Wanly sunny.

    High cloud.

Chilly in here at 16.4 deg, 15.5 in the kitchen, 14 in the leanto.

1004 mBar, 29.65 in Hg, 753 Torr, 14.56 psi, (down from 1005 last night), 60% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 26th of February 2020 AndyGarbs, BR14, LondonManc, LM, and Brillo popped in, NF was doing a bedding wash, and my leg was very painful: shortly off to see the doctor.

Shopping trip to Aldi and Tesco done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away (apart from the 4kg of porridge oats).

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: thing about fish & today fishwives at 11:45. More people died at sea than died down the mines. Now there's a thought. And both industries are extinct.

Anyone else remember the loss of The Gaul? Lots of fuss about that one.

More potching: strimmed the parents' grave, tidied up the grandparents' graves. Neary fell over on the very slippery path: must remember to use the road when it's a bit damp underfoot: left knew complaining bitterly.

Moved some of next door's junk down to their newly empty shed: the fire surround my parents probably paid hundreds for is scrap: the electric fire certainly is. Took their carpet fixings down to said shed after they'd spent 6 years on my property.

Potched about with more welding. I've definitely lost my touch. Used the Lidl(tm) inverter welder this afternoon to see if it made any difference: nope: still crap.

Tea: soup etc. Nice enough. Entertainment: PM.

    More Nazis. Okinawa. Another bloodbath.

The Mind of Mr J. G. Reeder. "The Duke".

WWII secrets from above: Operation Market Garden.

    Morning denizens

Lots of sheets of cloud out, but with big gaps starting to open up from the south and west, and likely to be clear later. It's still windy, so the current 10°C "feels like" 3°, and I assume we'll be similarly shortchanged on the expected high of 13°. The barometers are dithering but nominally up at 992/1000mB

    Almost finished reading Heathern

And I did some more mucking around with RealityKit shaders

Lots of meetings tomorrow, which is a shame as the other dev and I have been working out how to do something and made some good progress today. But we won't have much time to take it any further until Thursday at this rate

    Goodnight all

Ended up having a very early dinner that was Thai curry leftovers from Saturday evening.

The evening's ents has started with the new series of Ambulance on iPlayer.

Another 2+ hr doing footpath inspection. Back & relax with me puppet parrot. I see that local woodland charity has a photo of volunteers on it's main page, I'm right in the middle with a youngish lady, her arm round me shoulder.
