To go along with this, a bit of the motorway cops thing
The washer-dryer reckoned it had finished, but a bit of actual steam came out when I opened it and stuff still seemed a bit damp, so I set it going again. I picked some kind of quick dry programme and it's adjusted the expected time down by about half within a couple of minutes of starting, so it should all be done soon
Mine is described on my patient record as "Cell-based trivalent Flu/Vac/SA". I gather the trivalent bit means it has two strains of A and one of B, but I don't know what the SA signifies
Misty: can't see the other side of the valley by there boyo.
Wetly wet.

Meanwhile on the 20th of February 2020 Churchill popped in, along with BR14 (celebrating his half MillenniOM) and Brillo, NF remarked on the chill since the rain had stopped, and WTFH popped in too.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the thing about antibiotics. Noon o'clock news. The argument programme: feckit <click>.
Can see across the valley now, boyo, looks wet over by there. About as wet as it is over by here. .
Bored. Now. No walk today since I'm not going out in this.
Nothing on the box.
Looking at abandoned houses on FB instead. And even that has palled.
Freecell score in the endless drizzle: 90%, running average: 84%.
Just watched a vid about Trump's dementia: we're doomed.
Tea: Mr Brains faggots with peas & such.
Entertainment: More or Less (again: maybe I'll remember some of it this time). 17 o'clock news. PM.
News Quiz.
Coast & Country on ITVW. Portmeirion featured again. I think that MiniMoke was electric. Plus some castle up north: Castell Y Bere. In the middle of nowhere.
It's a grey day out, damp from last night's rain (which is expected to resume shortly) and still a bit breezy. Quite mild though: already at 14°C (though it "feels like" 11° because of the wind) and expected to reach 17° by lunchtime, then remain there until sunset. The barometers have plummeted to 996/1004mB
I awoke a little earlier than expected this morning and decided I might as well get up. And as I'm up, I figure I might as well pop down to Not as Big Sainsbury's for the small number of items it would be convenient, though not absolutely necessary, to lay in
The under 65 one was ok, the 's over 65 with added shark knocks me sideways.
"SA" is "Surface Antigen" apparently & the vaccine is egg free.
No eggs! What will they think of next?
Speaking of microorganisms, in The Andromeda Strain, they've entered the underground lab and started trying to work out why the old man and the baby are still alive. It's taken just over half the book to get to this point, but he does spend more time filling in people's back stories and so on
It's turned windy and rainy here, and will continue so at least until morning
Mine's on Saturday at 16:00. The 's version, so that's another lost weekend, though only one bad arm this year, all being well.
