Lunch has been a leftover pork cutlet in a bap - white, because I used the last of the brown ones yesterday
Yesterday afternoon, a plumber knocked on the door and asked if I could flush my toilet repeatedly for a few minutes as they were trying to determine the source of a leak downstairs somewhere. I obliged, but he never returned so I didn’t think any more about it. Today comes an email from the management company saying they need access to several flats, including mine, on either Friday or Saturday morning to work out where the leak is coming from. I’ve told them Friday would be best for me. Hope it doesn’t turn out to be coming from my flat; I could do without the hassle of having the bathroom torn apart

The cloudflare outage is very annoying. I am having to do some work instead of reading The Register.

Napier, NZ completed in just 14 moves due to all the 'two-fers'. (5x5 grid)
Still getting the site crash in Firefox but I have a workaround so there's no point making a fuss.

£250 to even look, here, - robbin barstewards. 1/2 bottle of bells and a set of long nosed pliers is MUCH cheaper.Originally posted by DoctorStrangelove View Post
It stopped being NHS 15 years ago. Then again it's only £250 a year.

Morning all
Cloudy but bright with a decent amount of sky visible. Currently 3 degrees ('feels like' 1) with a high of 7 expected. My weather app thinks there's rain and snow falling at the moment. I disagree. Barometer has dropped a little to 1020 mBar.
Sunrise 07:25; Sunset 16:08 GMT
Yesterday, HWMBO and I met MS for dinner and a good catch up. No secrets spilled about upcoming OC appearances even though it was all recorded some time ago.

Morning.
Tuesday.
Dry.
Sunny.
Blue sky.
Cold side of chilly in here at 14.5 deg, 12.5 in the kitchen, 7.5 in the leanto, 3.7 in the saltinghouse.
1015.5 mBar, 29.987 in Hg, 761.7 Torr, 14.73 psi, (down from 1021 last night), 53% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 1st of March 2020 WTFH was preparing to go on a jet plane whilst listing watches, BR14 was about to get on a train to a new gig, LM popped in, along with eek & discussed watches, then NF popped in without discussing watches.
Dentist visited at 09:00. Teeth cleaned, x rayed, nothing to do.
.
And, having discovered the complete lack of fish in the freezer, it's off to Aldi & Tesco we go. I may be some time. It's cold out there.
Shopping trip to Aldi and Tesco done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Cleared Aldi out of prunes.
.
Raining.
Lunch: Brunch. Entertainment: Y&Y waffling on about ticket touts. <click> Haven't been to a gig in half a century thank feck.
Raining a lot.
Sun's out again.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; Today, 14:55.

Morning denizens
Rather cloudy start, but it’s expected to brighten up a bit soon before falling back to cloudy with a 50% chance of some showers early in the afternoon. It’s still cold at 1°C which “feels like” -2°, and the expected high is down a bit from yesterday at 6°. The barometers are down a little at 1007/1015mB

TV this evening was the remainder of an episode of Traffic Cops
And tonight, I finished reading Elvissey. Only one more book in the series left, which has the unusual distinction of being sixth both in writing order and story order!
Goodnight all

I had loads of chips left over from Five Guys on Saturday and it seemed a shame to let them go to waste, so I had them with a hot dog for tea

Lunch: chilli & salt chicken in a wholemeal bap
Very sunny out, but cold with it
A skip has appeared in the small car park at the back, and the fittings from a bathroom are appearing in it. I think it’s one of the top floor flats, and though I don’t know which, I would have expected more noise if it was the one above me. But I’ve just realised I haven’t seen the very old lady from the other one up there in a while, so now I’m wondering if she’s either popped her clogs or been institutionalised and they’re doing a bit of a refurb before putting it on the market
And in the post, a cheque for forty-odd quid from Eon. They haven’t been my energy supplier for nearly three years, and I thought everything had been settled after I took them to the Ombudsman, so I have no idea what’s going on. There’s a statement which basically shows every charge at the old flat since I moved out of there as reversed, but none of them were charged to me in the first place. So now I’m wondering whether to phone them and ask what the hell they’re up to, or just bank it
