When work was done, or rather the time during which it was supposed to be done had passed, I popped round to the chemist for the usual monthly stuff. I find it hard to believe it’s been four weeks since the last time, but the broken foil on the blister packs tells the story. Time seems to be whizzing by at the moment

Once home with that lot, I set a wholemeal loaf to baking. I’ve been meaning to make one, and forgetting, since early last week

    Excellent!

    Afternoon denizens

Very grey and overcast here but at least it isn't raining right now. Middle child is off school sick which is making today fun.

Lunch was oxtail soup and bread.

Lunch has been a small pork pie

It brightened up earlier, but it’s gone quite gloomy and grey now

    Morning.

    Monday apparently.

    Damp.

    Grey.

    Wanly sunny.

Chilly in here at 13.8 deg, 13 in the kitchen (pressed the lcd), 11 in the leanto.

1010.5 mBar, 29.84 in Hg, 757.9 Torr, 14.656 psi, (up from 1008 last night), 66% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 20th of March 2020 NF saw some persons in the Polish Cafe, LM took a trip with HWMBO to Tesco, BR14, eek, and quackhandle popped in, quackhandle with industrial quantities of bogroll, whereas I was doing the washing.

Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the Eyerack disaster with another contribution from BLiar.

Just had the council tax. .

Just had the water rates. .

Trip to that Swansea to dispose of this month's readings and pop to M&S whilst it's still there, plus get some money out of the bank, and buy a book in Waterstones who only had one I was looking for: another Penelope Lively.

Completely forgot the intention to purchase the "Elementary" boxset.

X7 down, with a curious diversion off Fabian Way due to it being dug up: saw the back of Amazon & much else I'd never previously encountered: didn't know WTF I was for some of it. Then a 34 back with the idea of popping to Tesco which was duly cancelled due to the ongoing drizzle.

Popped into a couple of charity emporia in Neath just in case they might have a book: naturally enough they didn't.

Now getting outside a mug of mediocre yet consistent coffee.

Tea: chicken in white sauce etc. Nice enough though the sauce isn't very white with additional chilli powder, peppers, curry powder, and hot smoked paprika. Entertainment: PM. The Orange Mother****er is busy railing against clouds in his usual demented way. Sad, so sad. .

    Blaze: skinwalker ranch bollox.

    5USA+1: NCIS S22 E9 "Humbug". No "Bah!" though. .

Ah, that's where I've seen Seamus Dever before: "Castle".

Overcast, but the rain that caught us at 6:30 on our walk has now stopped.

A good weekend in Cardiff, even if everything didn't quite work out the way I would have liked.

Layers of cirrus and cirrostratus cover a lot of the sky, though a large blue area has opened up between them to the west. The wind seems to have dropped a bit for now but it’ll be back for much of the day. Our current 5°C “feels like” -2°, with an expected high of 11°. The barometers are back up to 1000/1008mB

I suspect he's going to be surprised at the cost of repair and respray of a bumper and rear panel. The same panel that had extensive rust repairs done on it 6 months ago.
