The chinese plague jab is 75 or older now.Originally posted by sadkingbilly View Postoff for flu/covid jag later. deep joy. . .

 Morning.

 Monday apparently.

Odd dreams about cats. . .

 Dry.

 Sunny.

 Blue sky.

Chilly in here at 15.8 deg, 15 in the kitchen, 13.5 in the leanto.

1006 mBar, 29.7 in Hg, 754.6 Torr, 14.59 psi (up from 1002 last night), 57% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 26th of February 2020 I'd managed to stagger back down the hill very slowly, NF commiserated: when he did the same thing he did it on the front path rather than a mile and a half up a hill, Brillo popped in a lot, eek found a bug in Teams, WTFH popped in.

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the sunshine. Scarf on again and an umbrella just in case.

 Morning all

Sunny with occasional fluff balls wafting past. Quite breezy. Currently 13 degrees ('feels like' 10) and that's the high for the day. Cloud cover set to increase as the day progresses. Barometer down to 1005 mBar.

 Sunrise 06:46; Sunset 16:43 GMT

Once again, the battle commences to get my heating controls to recognise what the time is. It has some nonsense time signal update that overwrites the settings and it's hard to fathom what time zone it actually thinks it's in. It'll take me a week or so of trying options, waiting for the 12 hourly update to see if they stick and trying again.

Oh, and HWMBO is on his way back to Glasgow.Last edited by ladymuck; Today, 10:29.

Morning all a very pleasant walk has been had without the need for a head torch. A couple of weeks before it will be required in the morning, but it will be an evening necessity now - one that I don't mind. a very pleasant walk has been had without the need for a head torch. 11C with a few clouds when we went out, 10C and clear skies now. Not much of a breeze.

 Morning denizens

Very windy out, with some clouds and some sky and possibly some light rain in a few minutes. It's 9°C but "feels like" 0°, but the wind should ease off this afternoon so maybe the high of 12° will feel a bit more like itself. The barometers are down at 991/999mB

Read more of Heathern in which the parallels to the present day are getting even stronger as the trillionaire owner of Dryco goes to extreme lengths to secure the technology needed to create AI

This afternoon was largely given over to various bits of PHP stuff

Monday tomorrow, and back to work for me

 Goodnight all

Went to visit lady next door. Seemed surprisingly cheerful considering the news. Village club after, chat with her husband & other usual lot.

Took me longer doing footpath report than inspection itself. Making sense of my scrawlings, getting lat/lon locations from photos, converting to OS etc.

Lunch has been a roast beef bap

It was going to be the rest of the salmon but I put it out on the side when arranging stuff in the fridge last night and forgot to put it back in. As it's been at room temperature all night and morning, I decided it wasn't worth risking it

Nice to be back on proper time again.

Off to see Mum. She's been hiding patio door keys, stashing toilet roll in the wardrobe and roaming the house at 2am.

 Sunday.

 Damp.

 Sunny.

Chilly in here at 15.7 deg, 13 in the kitchen, 12 in the leanto, 8.5 in the saltinghouse.

Meanwhile on the 4th of November 2005 the thread began. . .

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the sunshine, scarf on again, with the added delight of being crapped on from a height by some avian comedian. Jacket now in the WM.

Meanwhile on the 26th of February 2020, amongst the discussion of LED downlighters, transformers, and LEDs glowing when switched off, there came a great Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! after I'd pulled a muscle in my left leg whilst collecting rubbish around the reservoir, no good deed going unpunished as is only right & proper.

Jacket out of the WM & into the TD since I can't be arsed to peg it out on the line.

Jacket out of the TD and airing in the living room.

Jacket back in the TD on "Extra Dry" to see if it gets to be actually dry this time.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: some thing on R4 about the Japanese PM whose hero is The Great She Elephant.

Tea: beans on toast etc. Nice enough. Entertainment: the poetry crap <click>

 Book. Other book.

 Look at Life:

Sergeant Cork. S1 E9 "The case of the sleeping coachman". Mildly amusing in an Upstairs Downstairs sort of way.
