Morning all
Dull and overcast yet again. Ground was wet when I left the house. Currently 9 degrees with a high of 12 expected. No rain forecast. Barometer up to 1031 mBar according to my weather app but I forgot to check my home barometer before I left for the office.
Workshop at ClientCo this morning then back home at lunchtime for an interview.

Gloomy here, but not quite as gloomy as in Ukraine and Lebanon this morning.

Morning denizens
Another grey start, and looking a little misty too. Mild again too, being 9°C and expected to reach 14°, with the barometers back up to 1018/1026mB
Interesting news from across the pond

This evening's only viewing was a new episode of Police Interceptors
And later, I read more of Casino. Almost finished that now
It's Tuesday night, which means I'm halfway through the week!
Goodnight all

Spag bol for tea
That was the last of it out of the freezer, so I need to make some more. I quite fancy making shepherd's pie soon too. Looks like I'll be loading up on mince

Lunch: chicken. tomato and lentil soup (of the herby variety) with a crust or two of wholemeal
Still grey. Nothing exciting happening on the lawn today, or not that I've seen

Morning all
Dull and overcast. I wanted to say damp but it isn't. Currently 11 degrees with a high of 12 expected. The sun may make an appearance this afternoon. No rain forecast. Barometer down to 1021 mBar.
Trying to tactically decide when to do my laundry as I'm off on hols next week. I want to get the bed changed so I have fresh(er) sheets to come home to whilst also ensuring I don't have a full laundry basket of wearables.

Meanwhile on the 28th of November 2019 it was the 9th anniversary of NF's first heart attack, WTFH was thinking of sorting the drainage near the hen coop, and I was off to that Cardiff so had a shower whether I needed it or not. .
Trip to that Swansea to some old mates at Ye Newe Sloughe of Desponde: X5 down & X5 back. Someone sat next to me on the way down. .
Bought a dvd in Oxfam (no donations today: there's only one book in the pile), and bought "Foundation" just to read the final story that wasn't in "The 1000 Year Plan".
Lunch: a greatly delayed brunch.
Tea: Tesco battered haddock etc. Nice enough.
Entertainment: PM <click>
Freecell score: 88%, running average: 79%: that last game was a right bugger to get out.
The Bad Skin Clinic. Not a lot of innerest this week, though the lady with bad psoriasis had a nice result.

I seem to have neglected to wish TPD goodnight last night. And on its birthday too! I blame the lurgy
Anyway, I'd read a few more chapters of Casino so there wasn't much to report
Grey day again this morning, and expected to continue so. Currently 8°C and not getting past 12°, with the barometers down a little at 1011/1019mB
I believe I just heard the trundlings of bin day a couple of streets away out the back when I poked my head out of the bedroom window for a breath of fresh air, as is my wont
The lurgy, meanwhile, can't make its mind up. So I feel a touch worse than is usual for morning and have a somewhat bunged-up nose, but nothing much beyond that

Tea has been Nando's leftovers
And this evening's viewing has been the first two episodes of the new series of A House in Time, which has changed tack (and cheated a little) by being about two apartment blocks, one in Marylebone and one in Berlin, and concentrating on their residents' various involvements in World War II
