There are times when the Lucan-hunting chap's obsessive nature gets a bit exasperating, but it's worth persevering to the (surprising) end

This evening's reading has been a bit more of Lying for Money, with some interesting lessons in business strategy from the accountant to the Kray twins

    Thursday tomorrow!

    Goodnight all

Another Scrambled Maps that seemed like it would be a nightmare but I got it in ten moves, though helped rather by seven or eight tiles (of 25) being in the right place to start with

This evening, I finished The Peepshow in which the death penalty was eventually abolished
I was wondering why such a subject would be covered in a David Mitchell comedy episode until I Googled it.

Morning all, Seattle calling, local time 0643

Dark, sun rise is at 0713. Raining and that's expected all day. Currently 10 degrees with a high of 13 expected. Barometer at 1000 mBar.

Our flight was an hour late but otherwise had a very pleasant time. Knackered though.

I remembered I had a smallish bit of steak & Guinness pie left in the freezer, so that was lunch

The slight mist first thing thickened into a definite fog after an hour or so. Not sure when it dissipated as I was working by then, but it's a sunny day with an almost clear sky now

CBS, etc. I even went as far as wearing a heavier jacket over a t-shirt. I prefer cold and dry to raining -when it comes to walking.

    Morning denizens

Bit of a misty start, but looks as if it'll turn into a sunny morning once the sun gets high enough, before clouding over towards lunchtime. Getting chilly in the morning now: 3°C to start, though rising to 11° later. The barometers remain quite high at 1025/1033mB
